因为…所以…
Give a reason and a result without stacking English “because so.”
Two halves, one idea
因为下雨了，所以我坐地铁. Reason first, result second. Comma is a breath, not optional grammar.
You can drop 因为 in speech and keep 所以. Beginners should keep both until the order is automatic.
Do not put 所以 in both clauses.
Short reasons
因为我太累了. 因为没时间. 因为有课. Keep the reason a clause you already know.
所以我们下次吧 is a complete result.
This pattern is for plans and excuses, not for showing off conjunctions.
Order vs English
English sometimes puts “so” in the first breath. Mandarin wants the cause labeled, then 所以.
Subject can repeat: 因为我没空，所以我不能去.
One 因为 is enough. Nested because-clauses wait.
Common mistakes
Do not say 因为…所以因为…
Do not start the result with 但是 when you meant 所以 — those are different relationships.
Do not translate “because of rain” as 因为的下雨. Use a clause: 因为下雨了.

Tips
- 因为 reason, 所以 result.
- Use a clause after 因为, not a bare noun.
- 但是 is contrast, not result.
- Keep both halves short this week.
